The right panel shows the optimally smoothed power spectrum, together with a local fit of oscillations centered around νmax, represented by the orange line. The new Fast, Robust, and Automated (FRA) tool for the detection and measurement of solar-like oscillations in time-series photometry of red-giant stars is described, tested, and validated in detail in the paper by Gehan et al., this issue, e220090.
