摘要
Abstract Liver imaging represents an essential resource in the surgical treatment of liver diseases. Over the years, a shift has occurred in the role of liver imaging which has moved forward from the classical preoperative aetiological definition of a liver lesion. Nowadays, liver imaging aids the surgeon in the assessment of liver anatomy for optimal surgical planning, in the detection and characterization of focal liver lesions and biliary tract disorders in both the preoperative and intraoperative setting, and in the evaluation of the postoperative course and follow-up. This chapter provides an up-to-date review on the major imaging modalities that aid the surgeon in the surgical treatment of liver diseases.
