4D Printing of dental implants using powder bed fusion technique

In recent times, dental professionals may use custom-specific 3D printed surgical drill guides, temporary and permanent crowns and bridges, orthodontic appliances and orthotics, implants, and mouthguards for drug delivery. The powder bed fusion (PBF)-based 3D printing technologies are being widely used in dentistry for implant fabrication. This study highlights the overview of PBF-based 3D-printed materials with different meta-structures for possible 4D applications.
