Abstract
•Waste raw materials were used to prepare CG\Fe-Cu bimetals through a simple heating method.•CG\Fe-Cu has good catalytic ability in degradation of TCPA in salinity wastewater.•Biochar facilitated the TCPA removal by CG\Fe-Cu from salinity water.•TCPA removal is based on direct reduction and oxidation by in-situ generated ROS.
