Lab 2: Introduction to TI Code Composer IDE

In this lab you receive your first exposure to programming a MSP430 microcontroller (the MSP430G2553 20–pin chip included with the LaunchPad) by using the TI Code Composer IDE. For purposes of getting familiar with Code Composer we write two very simple programs, one in assembly code, and the other in C code and running them on the MSP430G2553 microcontroller. Then in Task C you write an assembly program that sequences three LEDs in an on/off pattern. The main purpose of this lab is to introduce you to Code Composer and how to maneuver around the IDE to program the microcontroller.
