Purpose: Clinically relevant postpancreatectomy acute pancreatitis (CR-PPAP) is an acute inflammatory process of the pancreatic remnant triggered by an ischemic process. Due to heterogeneous definitions its clinical impact varies across the literature. Aim of this single center study was to analyse its incidence, associated risk factors and outcomes following pancreatoduodenectomy.
