摘要
•Individuals with seafood consumption of >500 g/week had a 60% lower risk of CVD mortality as compared with nonconsumers.•The competing risk model was employed to indicate more robust the association between seafood consumption and CVD mortality.•This study provides evidence of the recommendations of the 2022 Dietary Guidelines for Chinese residents.
