EP12.01-18 Validation of the ALK-Brain Prognostic Index (ALK-BPI) Model in Patients with ALK-rearranged Non-small Cell Lung Cancer and Brain Metastases

Anaplastic Lymphoma Kinase (ALK)-rearranged non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) has been correlated with substantial incidence of brain metastases (BM). Various prognostic scores have been developed, though mostly before the era of targeted therapies. We have previously proposed the ALK-Brain Prognostic Index (ALK-BPI) as a prognostication tool for patients with BM treated with ALK inhibitors. The aim of this study was to validate its performance in an external clinical cohort.
