Abstract
Ovarian cancer (OC) remains one of the deadliest cancers, with a high mortality-to-incidence ratio. High mortality relates in part to high rates of chemotherapy-resistant disease. We recently reported that the transcription factor NFATC4, in response to chemotherapy, induces a reversible cellular quiescence and drives OC cell chemoresistance. Here we sought to identify the mechanism whereby NFATC4 drives quiescence and chemoresistance.
