摘要
3D Fibrillar Fibronectin In article number 2300812, Seungkuk Ahn, Nico Strohmeyer, Daniel J. Muller, and co-workers report a simple and easily-adaptable method to engineer 3D fibrillar fibronectin matrices mimicking native fibrillar tissues. Fibroblasts sense and respond to the biomimetic 3D fibrillar matrices via α5β1 integrin and syndecan-4, which crosstalk to accelerate adhesion within seconds. This rapid fibrillar sensing guides cell growth, migration, and proliferation as depicted in the frontispiece.
