Evaluation and Construction of Index System of Intelligent Unmanned Surface Vessels

The unmanned surface vessel is a new type of unmanned system, which can accomplish many tasks independently, such as patrol and alert, sea area mapping, marine transportation, manned/unmanned collaboration, MCM (mine countermeasures), ASW (Anti-Submarine Warfare) and so on. Since the artificial intelligence technology, especially deep learning and reinforcement learning are rapidly applied in the unmanned system, the intelligent development of USVs attracts more and more attention. Based on the analysis of operational requirements, mission, and intelligent features of USVs, the intelligent evaluation index system of intelligent USVs has been first established. Combined with analytic hierarchy process and gray-level fuzzy evaluation, the quantitative evaluation of intelligent USVs has been obtained using the index system.
