Neural Stem Cells Neural progenitor cells (NPCs, green) are labelled with magnetic nanoparticles to make them magneto-responsive. When NPCs are transplanted in the mouse spinal cord tissue (red), an external magnetic field can be used to promote growth and guidance of their neural processes in the desired direction.
