Battery Electrolyte Additives In article number 2303029, Nam-Soon Choi, Sung You Hong, Sang Kyu Kwak, and co-workers present the combined use of a synthetic fluorosulfate additive and vinylene carbonate, to form a mechanical strain-adaptive solid electrolyte interphase comprising electrochemically robust LiF and spatially flexible polymeric species, and thermally stable cathode–electrolyte interface containing sulfur species. PF5 deactivation helps maintain the stability of the electrolyte–electrode interface.
