Abstract
Introduction: Pituitary macroadenomas commonly extend into the suprasellar space, cavernous sinus, and sphenoid sinus. The sphenoid sinus is an important corridor and essential entry point for endoscopic transnasal transsphenoidal surgery (ETTS) for pituitary tumors. We aim to investigate anatomic and pathologic features that may play a role in extrasellar tumor extension into the sphenoid sinus.
