Abstract
Rodless production technology has many technical advantages, such as no deviation limit, no rod and tubing abrasion, economic space occupation, simple surface equipment, real-time downhole data acquisition, closed-loop control of fluid level, etc. The new serial of down-hole driven submersible pump rodless production technologies, including electric submersible pump, electric submersible progressing cavity pump and electric submersible plunger pump, were developed in recent years. Here the development status of these new rodless production technologies in the domestic and overseas is comprehensively reviewed. And the supporting technologies, including cable laying composite coiled tubing, throwing in and pulling cable, downhole data acquisition and monitoring system, are compared and analyzed. It is pointed out that the gap between PetroChina and foreign companies in rodless production technology mainly lies in wide-amplitude electric submersible pump technology, high temperature resistance technology, downhole monitoring, data analysis, fault diagnosis and prediction, production optimization technology and so on. On this basis, combined with the development status and technical difficulties of rodless production technology of PetroChina in the future, four development suggestions are put forward: (1) wide displacement rodless lifting technology suitable for deep shale oil; (2) the optimization technology of platform well cluster based on lowest energy consumption and highest efficiency; (3) further improvement on data acquisition technology; (4) research on block optimization production process to improve single well production.
