Abstract
The comprehensive aging experiments of fluororubber sealing materials in the nuclear power plant were carried out in the condition of pressure load, silicone oil and temperature from 135 ℃ to 165 ℃. Then, compression set, Shore hardness, infrared spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis were tested for original samples and aging samples. The results showed that the performance of compression set gradually declines, but the Shore hardness did not see a significantly and continuously increasing or decreasing trend. The fourier infrared spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis results had no great change in different aging samples. The samples were mutually affected by degradation and crosslinking during aging process. In the life model which set compression as the key parameter, the predicted life of fluororubber seals was 148.28 years at 50 ℃ when the end point of compression set was 40%.
