Development of Cloud ERP Model and Its Application in Smart Mining

The concept of smart mining allows for more efficient and sustainable power production, as well as improved safety and worker conditions. It also enables companies to be more responsive to market demands and changes in resource availability. The use of digital technologies and smart systems in mining and power production is therefore crucial for the development of Industry 4.0 and the transition towards a more sustainable and interconnected economy. Based on these approaches, the paper presents a developed and applied private cloud ERP model, which has three modules: virtual part – based on cloud computing model (SaaS model) or private cloud, business part – uses IoT to connect business processes (procurement, sales, management, finance, warehouse, downtime tracking), production part – tracking production (at the open-pit coal mine) and technological processes (tracking and maintenance of auxiliary equipment). Most of these elements have already been applied, as shown in detail in the paper.
