In an electrical power system, the unique location of FACTS devices in the AC power transmission network is critical. FACTS devices are often used to improve the voltage profile's performance. The FACTS devices’ numerous capabilities have allowed different targets to be established in order to identify their best placement and position. To control, absorb and supply reactive power, a STATCOM device based on a voltage source converter is utilized. An appropriate strategy of FACTS devices zones of impact is described in this research to discover the ideal position of FACTS devices that can also decrease power losses.
