摘要
ABSTR A C T Emotions influence clinical decision-making (CDM), directly impacting patient care. This study explored the relationship between prelicensure nursing students' self-confidence and anxiety related to CDM using screen -based simulations (SBS). The purposive sample included 176 junior-level students. Two commercially-designed SBS were integrated into an adult medical-surgical clinical using a quasi-experimental design. Students self-rated using the Nursing Anxiety and Self-Confidence with Clinical Decision Making Scale (c). Pre -to -post completing each SBS, confidence increased, and anxiety decreased in the intervention cohort. (c) 2023 Organization for Associate Degree Nursing. Published by Elsevier Inc.
