This delivery system can penetrate the blood–brain barrier, enrich and release drugs at the site of ischemic injury, and finally enter the mitochondria to achieve tertiary targeted drug delivery, thus effectively protecting ischemic neurons by modulating reactive oxygen species to activate HIF-1α/TFEB-mediated mitochondrial autophagy.
