Agenda for future research

Inspired by recent research findings, advances in geographical psychology, and an interdisciplinary perspective combining various fields and disciplines, this chapter present an elaborate agenda for future research on the geography of entrepreneurial psychology. It puts a special emphasis on advances in macro-psychological theory, the bridging of academic disciplines, research-policy interaction, the psychological diversity of places and regions, how to disentangle the purely regional from individual-level effects, stability in regional psychological characteristics over time, the role of migration, tradition and collective memory of places and regions, the rationality and non-rationality of regions, micro-macro fit, implications for subjective and psychological well-being and mental health, and the role of bid data and AI.
