Persistence of regional entrepreneurship

This chapter discusses the intriguing persistence phenomenon in entrepreneurship, that regional differences in entrepreneurial activity often tend to persist over time. The chapter delivers a summary of existing research findings in this field and potential explanations for this phenomenon and its importance for research, practice and policy.
