The clear beginning to these events is important, as well as the connection to the local community and to a distant, digital audience. Secondary events related to the relocation, preservation, or erasure of the installations play out over a longer time frame. The engagement of social media is prominent in all the installations although it shifts in focus from discovery to announcement.
