Comportamiento y evolución del recurso forestal para la sostenibilidad del ecosistema montañas de guamuhaya, cienfuegos

The forest resource is a part of the strategic axis Natural resources and environment, essentiallyinterrelated with the Objective 15 of the Agenda 2030 for the sustainable development. Inthe Mountains of Guamuhaya (Cienfuegos), this resource has been strategically managed forthe local institutions in order to the strengthening of the reforestation, as a strategy for theeconomic development of the flora and fauna such as the defence of country. Is proposes anevaluation of the historic behaviour of this natural resource in the period of 1995-2018, since anevaluator construct. Is made a descriptive analysis of its main indicators identified for expertsand grouped according to the PER methodology. The results show that the behaviour of thisresource still is non favourable for reach a forest management totally sustainable. These resultscontribute to the update of municipal development strategies and to the fulfilment of the Planfor the Economic and Social Development of Cuba.
