IoT-Enabled Intelligent Maternal Intensive Care: A Research Study

The Internet of Things (IoT) has become one of the most significant instruments for pervasive and intelligent systems for automated diagnostics in the healthcare industry. This study suggests creating sophisticated monitoring systems for mother and foetal signals in high-risk pregnancies. The suggested system employs several sensors, including an ECG sensor, FHR sensor, and UC sensor, all of which are coupled to a microcontroller unit. The MCU analyses the sensor data and sends it wirelessly to a web server, which is presented on a graphical user interface after being processed by the web server. The GUI gives medical practitioners a thorough analysis of the pregnancy, including historical trends and recent data that may be utilized to spot possible issues and act quickly. The system is created to be scalable, affordable, and user-friendly, making it appropriate for implementation in both developed and developing nations. Overall, the suggested method offers a sub-stantial advancement in the field of pregnancy monitoring by providing both healthcare professionals and patients with better accuracy, dependability, and accessibility. This IoT-based technology has the potential to enhance health outcomes for pregnant women all around the world by revolutionizing pregnancy monitoring.
