Abstract
This article establishes the connection between environmental education and literary education applied to the classroom to promote education in values as promulgated by the LOMLOE. In order to achieve this objective, the work of Mariluz Escribano (1935-2019), one of the main authors of Spanish poetry of the twentieth century, included in the Generation of 50 but incorporated into the canon recently, will be used. The contribution of this work focuses on the ecocritical analysis of the poetics of Escribano associated with the recognition of natural heritage and its necessary protection to bequeath it to future generations. To this aim, a journey is made through her poetry books and memorial works that allow us to provide a series of significant proposals for their application in the classroom linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that reveal the resounding ethical and aesthetic commitment of the writer from Granada with sustainability and environmental awareness.
