Abstract
This article studies the design of prescribed-time full-and reduced-order unknown input observers (UIOs) for linear singular systems with input delay, satisfying the OMC, and the strong observability condition. To this end, a condition in terms of a matrix equation is first used to transform the considered linear singular system into a regular one with unknown input. Then, prescribed-time full-and reduced-order UIOs are established by employing a periodic delayed output approach such that the estimation error converges to zero in prescribed time. Finally, comparative simulations are shown to demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed approaches.
