Molecular profiling of mucinous ovarian carcinoma reveals actionable mutations and a unique genomic profile

Mucinous ovarian carcinoma (MOC) is a rare gynecologic tumor typically resistant to first-line platinum-based chemotherapy. For patients with advanced or recurrent disease, the prognosis is dismal, and novel treatment options are urgently needed. We aimed to explore the genomic profile of mucinous ovarian carcinoma and compare it to that of mucinous colorectal and appendiceal carcinoma.
