摘要
Uterine serous carcinoma (USC) is an aggressive histologic variant of endometrial cancer that accounts for up to 80% of endometrial cancer deaths. While primary surgery followed by adjuvant chemotherapy with or without tailored radiotherapy has been the mainstay of initial treatment of advanced USC, some strategies have incorporated the use of neoadjuvant chemotherapy extrapolating from ovarian cancer treatment approaches; however, the data driving this practice in USC is sparse. This study compared the survival outcomes between primary cytoreductive surgery (PCS) and interval cytoreductive surgery (ICS) following neoadjuvant chemotherapy.
