Frequency and content of cost conversations about gynecologic cancer care

Patients with cancer often have difficulty managing the costs of cancer treatment and adhering to care plans. Yet, few members of the care team engage in cost conversations or acknowledge and address patients' financial concerns. We aimed to survey patients with newly diagnosed gynecologic cancer and gain their perspectives on the frequency and content of cancer cost conversations. Our secondary objective was to assess the proportion of patients who delayed cancer care due to cost.
