摘要
Minimally invasive surgery (MIS) is associated with increased rates of recurrence and death compared to open surgery in early-stage cervical cancer patients undergoing radical hysterectomy. It is unclear whether there may be a subset of patients identified preoperatively with small tumors in whom MIS remains safe. The objective of this study was to determine whether the association between surgical approach and oncologic outcomes varies with the extent of disease identified prior to radical hysterectomy.
