Survival outcomes following adjuvant radiotherapy with and without brachytherapy in stage IIIC endometrial cancer

There is substantial variation in adjuvant therapy for patients with stage III endometrial cancer. While chemotherapy is an important component of treatment, radiotherapy is frequently utilized for patients with stage IIIC tumors. In this circumstance, vaginal brachytherapy is commonly used in conjunction with whole pelvic radiation. However, the value of adding brachytherapy is uncertain. The objective of our study was to examine the association between the use of vaginal brachytherapy and survival in patients with stage IIIC endometrial cancer treated with whole pelvic radiotherapy after hysterectomy.
