Functional Complications and Systemic Treatment Outcomes in Eosinophilic Fasciitis
JOURNAL OF THE AMERICAN ACADEMY OF DERMATOLOGY(2023)
摘要
Eosinophilic Fasciitis (EF) is a severe sclerodermoid condition that can lead to deep sclerosis of the extremities [1]. We performed a retrospective review of 17 consecutive adult patients with EF receiving systemic treatment in our department between 2015-2022. Fourteen patients (82.4%) reported at least one functional impairment related to EF. Seven patients (41.2%) received intravenous immunoglobulins (IVIG). IVIG was administered with corticosteroids and steroid-sparing agents (SSA) in all but 1 patient, who received IVIG with SSA only.
