摘要
Background: Skin lightening products (SLPs) constitute half the skincare market in India [1]. Their advertisements often endorse and propagate colorism—the differential treatment of an individual based on skin color, especially favoritism towards those with lighter skin [2,3]. Objective: Our survey aims to identify cultural stereotypes associated with skin color and evaluate SLP usage.
