Barriers and Facilitators to Teledermatology and Tele-eyecare in Veteran Healthcare Settings

Background: Introduction: Veteran healthcare systems are early adopters to implement telemedicine to bridge the access gap for veterans in rural areas given the geographic disparity of specialty care. The goal of this qualitative study is to better understand implementation process barriers and facilitators to telemedicine use, and specifically compare stakeholder experience between a higher utilization referral site and a lower utilization referral site for Teledermatology and Tele-Eye Care services.
