Abstract
Background: Notalgia paresthetica (NP) is a common neuropathic itch characterized by pruritus of the upper back. The kappa-opioid receptor agonist difelikefalin (DFK) has previously demonstrated efficacy in systemic and inflammatory forms of chronic pruritus.
