Abstract
Background: Introduction: Disproportionate marketing of sunscreen perpetuates a misunderstanding of sunscreen usage in people of color (POC). This lack of healthcare literacy is often multifactorial, including low socioeconomic status, educational level, and cultural reasons. We designed a survey to test if visual, audio media would improve POC’s understanding of the need and increase willingness to use sunscreen.
