Abstract
Background: Introduction: Telogen effluvium in the postpartum setting is among the most common causes of hair loss. Postpartum hair loss (PPHL) typically improves without intervention, but the condition can cause significant distress. These topics are frequently discussed on social media platforms, a common source of information for patients. We reviewed YouTube videos and Instagram posts discussing PPHL for source, content, and financial bias.
