A series of BiVO4 catalysts with tunable ratios of co-exposing (010)/(110) facets are prepared by the ultrafast microwave hydrothermal method, and the facet engineering of BiVO4 enables the synergetic adsorption and activation of persulfate to remove the organic pollutants.
