Abstract
•The elastocaloric effect of natural rubber under different ambient temperature conditions was obtained.•Obtained the optimum ambient temperature for the elastocaloric effect of natural rubber elasticity.•Analytical temperature variation equations for cooling and heating natural convection were provided as a function of the Fourier (Fo) and Biot (Bi) numbers.
