A new record of Hedychium gardnerianum (Zingiberaceae) from southwest China reveals an update to its distribution range

Hedychium gardnerianum Sheppard ex Ker Gawl. (Zingiberacea) is newly recorded from southwest China, which stretching its eastern natural distribution range.
