摘要
Tissue Regeneration Successful tissue regeneration relies on the proper modulation of immune cells and the overall immune system. In article 2301439, Chengchen Guo and co-workers introduce an innovative implantable biomaterial based on chemically modified silk fibroin, termed “silk acid.” Through an efficient and scalable technique, silk acid is produced with a precisely controlled degree of carboxylation. When implanted subcutaneously, the silk acid material notably promotes M2-type macrophage polarization, highlighting its significant promise for tissue regeneration.
