Abstract
Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are the primary pollutant emitted by chemical laboratories, causing significant damage to the environment and posing a serious threat to human health. In this study, an industrial-scale photocatalytic device was constructed for the removal of VOCs. The effectiveness of the photocatalytic device in removing gases such as ethyl acetate, dichloromethane, petroleum ether, and formaldehyde was investigated. The effects of gas flow rate, inlet concentration, temperature, and relative humidity on photocatalytic purification efficiency were revealed, which laid an important foundation for the further development of the industrial-scale photocatalytic device. A photocatalytic industrial sideline device was developed and used in the photocatalytic degradation of different volatile organic compounds. The photocatalytic degradation performance of the device was measured under different operating conditions, such as gas flow rate, inlet concentration, temperature, and relative humidity. This device has great industrial application prospects. image
