Nanographene‐Based Decoration as a Panchromatic Antenna for Metalloporphyrin Conjugates (Small 42/2023)
Small(2023)
Abstract
Metalloporphyrin Conjugates In article number 2301596, Matteo Tommasini, Juan Cabanillas-González, and co-workers reveal the photophysics of a fused nanographene–metalloporphyrin. The diagram shows the unveiled relaxation pathways of excited states. Photoexcitation populates ligand-centered singlets, transitioning via intersystem crossing to metal-centered triplets, then relaxing to ligand-centered triplets. Molecular orbital configurations are likened to a butterfly's wings, resembling open-closed positions.
