Immunological modifications following chemotherapy are associated with delayed recurrence of ovarian cancer (2295)
Gynecologic Oncology(2023)
摘要
Most ovarian cancer patients who respond to initial chemotherapy develop recurrent disease, which eventually becomes resistant to subsequent chemotherapy and results in the death of the patient. The exact mechanisms underlying ovarian cancer recurrence after successful initial treatment and why some patients recur earlier than others are not yet known. In this study, we sought to determine the transcriptomic differences between patients who recur within 6 months (early recurrence) and patients who recur later than 6 months (late recurrence) following chemotherapy.
