A high-energy-density NASICON-type Na3V1.25Ga0.75(PO4)3 cathode with reversible V4+/V5+ redox couple for sodium ion batteries

摘要
Na3V1.25Ga0.75(PO4)3 cathode exhibits high capacity, high energy density and long lifetime of sodium ion battery due to Ga3+ activation of V4+/V5+ in the high potential region of Na3V2(PO4)3-based cathodes to achieve reversible multi-electron reversible reaction in a wide voltage range; and Ga3+ is not involved in the electrochemical process, making the cycling process very stable.
