“Café com Agroecologia”: roda de conversa, saberes e sabores

The present work contains the report of a technical experience on the “Cafe com Agroecologia”,monthly event promoted since January 2015, at the Federal University of Vicosa (UFV)-MG, Brazil, organized by students of the Graduate Program in Agroecology of UFV, teachersand contributors. The meetings aim to promote spaces for discussion and construction ofagroecological knowledge among students, teachers and the non-academic community, interrelatingAgroecology to various topics such as food and nutritional security, agroecologicalproductive practices, participatory methodologies, public policies, research Agroecological,women empowerment, among others. In a year of meeting, the “Cafe com Agroecologia” provideda dynamic and relaxed space for socializing scientific and popular experiences, as wellas enhancing local socio-bio-diversity, contributing to agroecology as a science, movementand practice.
