PID controller design

In this paper, the issue of designing and tuning a standard three-term PID controller is addressed. To achieve this goal, the key principles of the PID compensator are described. Then two popular design approaches are studied and then illustrated in a specific use case. The paper ends with a global conclusion including guidelines on extra material to face implementation issues.
