Tulburări psihice asociate sindromului hiperactivitate/deficit de atenţie la copil

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a neuropsychiatric disorder common in pediatric age. In the clinical picture, in addition to the three major symptoms (hyperactivity, attention disorder and impulsivity), there may be multiple cognitive function disorders. Most patients with this syndrome often associate psychiatric manifestations as learning or sleep problems, emotional or social disorders. Association of those comorbidities may increase social and emo­tional difficulties in children with ADHD, leading to school and family conflicts, with negative influence on the quality of life of these patients.
