Bezoar in male adolescent with history of anorectal malformation. A case report

Most children undergoing anorectal malformations have some type of intestinal dysfunction or any alteration in the continence mechanism, they can alter their quality of life and have psychosocial impact. Bezoars are collections of ingested material accumulated in the stomach or intestine and tend to take the same mold, its presentation is associated with psychiatric disorders that have relief at the lack of impulse control. If a male adolescent presents with a history of anorectal malformation without any medical follow-secondary sequelae of bowel dysfunction and fecal incontinence that lead to bullying presenting dysthymic disorder, pica, trichotillomania and development of bezoar, with current surgical resolution and tracking pro multidisciplinary.
